Abby's LOVE/HATE relationship with....Alligators.
So, a few monthes ago, when we went on our mini-vacation to the mountains- me and Matt were making dinner and the discovery channel had been on. We left it on and the kids were playing a game or something....we come back in to Abby's eyes GLUED to the T.V. to find the show is featuring Alligator attacks. pretty intense attacks. We turned the channel but needless to say, Abby is forever changed. Alot revolves around.....alligators.
For instance....In the morning, a typical conversation will go
Mom: "Good morning guys! how did you sleep?"
Kids: " Great!"
Abby: " I had a dream!"
Mom: "really? About what?"
Abby: (serious face) "Alligators...."
Also...me and Matt take turns taking the kids on "Dates" where we get them out ONE on ONE.
My last date with Abby, we were in the car and the conversation goes as follows....
Abby: " Hey Mom....lets talk" (acting very grown up!)
Mom: "Ok...Abby, what should we talk about?"
Abby: " hmmmmm....I dunno Mom, hoooowww abbbout.......Alligators?!"
My mom is a nurse and she stopped over before work one day and she had all her "stuff" so the kids want to play Doctor. My mom was doing their blood pressure, pretending to give I.Vs, etc...she asked their name, date of birth, and if they were allergic to anything.
Daniel answered he was allergic to Dust and Mold. Abby answered she was allergic to.....can you guess?? Thats right....shes allergic to alligators. haha
Its a love- hate thing because shes SOOO intrigued but they gross her out at the same time.
We play a game in the car....tell us a animal and make its noise.
Example...
Ella will say Tiger goes ROAR
Abby will say Alligator says MEAN.
So....we went to the zoo which had like 2 of them, but I wanted to take her to the Alligator capital of the world. Alligator Adventure in Myrtle Beach, SC. We had a great time. Enjoy the pictures.
BY THE WAY....Shark week has been on Discovery channel this week and Abby might have a new favorite animal to obsess over!
